NTC starting give mobile services in Upper Dolpa

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited ( Nepal Telecom ), the government-owned telecommunication has started their telecom service in Upper Dolpa first time. Nepal telecom starting operation BTS tower in Dho area of upper Dolpa recently.

Nepal telecom operates micro BTS in Dho area which can provide 14 calls at a time.  NTC is the first company to provide telecommunication service in this area. The Company provides a small number of simultaneous calls, however, could not provide the capacity for all people there. People are still happy with the first mobile service in their there. Nepal telecom Upper Dolpa BTS operates with a VSAT satellite link system which is a very expansive technology for Doorsanchar Company.
Upper Dolpa people dream to make a call from their own home in around the world. Now, they can also connect to people anywhere anytime, either in Nepal or abroad.

Upper Dolpa some places like saldang, Bhijer, Phoksundo, chharka, dozens etc not connected by any telecommunication system. Our former minister Satya Pahadi has talked to make best efforts to ensure communication access to the people of upper Dolpa.  After some company started to give good services there, they can really happy and communicate nation and abroad any time and anywhere.

Recent days, Nepal Telecom give more priority to expand GSM mobile services in remote areas of the country. It company add a new mobile tower and fast to add new services. Nepal Government policy to connect remote areas people to access communication. We know, If any telecommunication company expand service or add a tower in town or large amount people area they generate more revenue but the remote area will be lower in comparison to the investment.

I hope, Nepal Telecom expands services in remote areas and connect people each other around the world. If Nepal Government starting promoting remote areas after some time we will really access mobile communication service in every Nepalese.
